Vanessa Simpson, M.Ed.
Founder, Director of Education, and Chief Explorer

Meet Vanessa Simpson, a passionate educator, intrepid traveler, and the creative mastermind behind Language Kids World. With a heart full of love for children and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Vanessa embarked on an incredible journey to create a wonderland where young minds can explore, learn, and grow.

Vanessa’s fascination with languages started early in life, as she traveled and witnessed firsthand the power of communication. She discovered that language is not just a tool for speaking but a bridge that connects cultures, fosters empathy, and unlocks limitless possibilities.

While in high school, she began tutoring students in English and, while going to Law School, she started a small language school in her Mexico City home teaching children and adults. After finishing her law degree and moving to Houston, her passion for teaching inspired her to complete a master’s degree in Bilingual Education and create Language Kids World, a one-of-a-kind educational adventure designed to ignite the creativity of children while fostering friendship and curiosity for other cultures.

Under Vanessa’s expert guidance, Language Kids World has flourished into a thriving community where children from all walks of life can come together, learn new languages, and embark on exciting global adventures – all within the safe and nurturing environment she has meticulously crafted. Vanessa’s innovative approach to teaching combines engaging activities, immersive experiences, and a sprinkle of magic to make language learning an exciting and enjoyable journey for children.

Matthew Warren
VicePresident and Co-Explorer

Matthew Warren serves as the Vice President of Language Kids World, where his leadership has been a part in guiding the organization towards achieving its goals of providing exceptional language learning experiences for children. With over twenty-five years of experience in management, sales, and marketing, Matthew has a proven track record of driving growth, improving revenue, and enhancing operational efficiency across various sectors. His role at Language Kids World involves spearheading business development efforts, enhancing client retention, and overseeing the expansion of educational programs and summer camps, significantly contributing to the organization’s success.

Before his tenure at Language Kids World, Matthew held key positions in several organizations, including, where he led initiatives to improve operations and marketing strategies for Alzheimer’s memory care facilities. His diverse background, encompassing roles from executive director and regional director to co-founder of an entrepreneurial venture, reflects his versatility and commitment to excellence. At Language Kids World, Matthew’s strategic vision and dedication to fostering an engaging learning environment have been vital in cultivating a nurturing space for young learners to explore new languages and cultures, embodying his passion for education and community development.

About Our Teachers

All educators from Language Kids World are exceptional and enthusiastic native-speaking professionals who have been diligently selected to provide the children at your school with a foundation in a second language that will last a lifetime.

Our educators have experience working with children and have received extensive training in our methodology to guide children through the exciting process of foreign language learning. We conduct several online and in-person language acquisition training each year, and we also provide several workshops and additional opportunities for teachers to continue to develop their skills throughout the year.

All our teachers have been tested for linguistic proficiency (verbal, reading, and writing) in their native language. We perform extensive background checks for all our educators.
