We are so excited to be your partner when school is out! This year, we will be offering a vibrant Spanish immersion day camp at our Heights campus on some of the days on which HISD’s schools are closed.
Through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, cultural workshops, outdoor adventures, and creative expression, our native-speaking instructors immerse your child in the Spanish language and culture. Whether your child is new to Spanish or building on existing skills, our camp provides a unique blend of learning and fun, nurturing a lifelong connection to Spanish in a fun, nurturing, and supportive community setting. Winter Break Camps
Spanish Immersion
Winter is the season of wonder, and what could be more wondrous than an adventure exploring different Spanish-speaking countries without leaving camp? At Language Kids World’s winter camp, your child is invited to embark on a fascinating journey filled with fun, wonder, and language learning!
From the sunny shores of Spain to the tropical breezes of the Dominican Republic, your child will zigzag across continents, discovering the unique treasures each country has to offer! They’ll learn to greet with a Chilean “¡Hola!”, cook up Peruvian delicacies, and even become a part of Spanish history, all without needing a passport. Campers will dance in a Mexican downpour, ski through Andean snow, and even sunbathe in Argentine warmth—all in a week’s adventure!
Pack your mittens, grab your sombreros, and let’s set off on a winter adventure filled with snowflakes, Spanish tales, and a splash of salsa dancing! Together, we’ll explore magical landscapes and discover a warm world of friendship and multiculturalism all while learning Spanish.

World Explorers’ Club is an innovative and captivating program for children dedicated to exploring the rich tapestry of cultures around the globe and offering a unique and engaging journey into our diverse world.
This program invites children to embark on an educational adventure that blends cultural exploration with interactive learning, allowing young minds to discover traditions from different countries around the world, including languages, arts, nature, food, and interesting places in a fun and immersive environment where children can experience the customs, languages, and arts of different countries.
World Explorers’ Club Day Camps offer an exhilarating, interactive journey around the globe, where each day is dedicated to exploring the rich culture of a different country. Imagine a week where children can start by delving into the colorful festivals and culinary delights of India, creating their own Rangoli art, and tasting authentic Samosas. The adventure continues in Mexico, with Mariachi music workshops and hands-on pottery making, echoing the country’s vibrant traditions. Midweek brings the mysteries of Egypt into focus, where kids engage in crafting their own mini-pyramids and learn about the ancient Pharaohs. The exploration then shifts to the artistic elegance of France, with Impressionist art projects and a taste of French cuisine. The journey culminates in the scenic beauty of New Zealand, with Maori cultural activities and learning about the unique wildlife. This camp is designed to be highly interactive, featuring a blend of educational activities, arts and crafts, cooking sessions, and cultural games, making each day a memorable experience in global discovery for young minds.
