Campers this week will explore Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. It’s one of the oldest cities in the world, and children will journey to this megacity while learning new vocabulary this week.

Known as one of China’s most popular tourist attractions, campers will take a virtual visit to The Forbidden City! While learning new vocabulary, children will discover the palace museum and its beautiful gardens.

Linguist Apprentices (Ages 3-5) – Through music and play, campers will develop their conversational skills in a second language. Children will engage in arts and crafts and hands-on projects while learning another language.

Language Ambassadors (Ages 6-10) – Campers will participate in project-based learning activities that will help them connect the foreign language to meaning, providing them the opportunity to develop their conversational skills while learning about fun and interesting topics.
