Crossing 50 States

It’s time for a cross-country road trip! Campers this week will embark on a journey from the East Coast to the West Coast and learn that some states are mountainous while others are pretty flat! They’ll learn about the different states as well as famous landmarks!

This week, each camper will pick one of the 50 states and learn all about it — What type of weather does it have? What are the sports teams? What types of food do they like to eat? By the end of the week, campers will be able to share what they’ve learned in a fun and creative way.

Linguist Apprentices (Ages 3-5) – Through music and play, campers will develop their conversational skills in a second language. Children will engage in arts and crafts and hands-on projects while learning another language.

Language Ambassadors (Ages 6-10) – Campers will participate in project-based learning activities that will help them connect the foreign language to meaning, providing them the opportunity to develop their conversational skills while learning about fun and interesting topics.
